For prospective buyer, its better to send some introduction email or phone before meeting them face to face. Its going to save you some times, and expenses.

Routine business travel, in order to check your clients or customers needs or complaints in certain time, also important to build further connection. Instead of the right price, business based on relationship are likely more success then the other factors.

Always prepared for important documents such as proposal and your demo product if any. Other than that your own belonging also need to be check, documents such as passport, or id, your laptop, and your formal clothes needs to be prepared.
